Hi and welcome to the TerryVee Experience!
May 2005 Well, thank you for visiting my web page, this is my first attempt and, just for the record, I have now returned to the UK and I am currently working here in a research clinic as a cosmetic surgeon based here in Harley street, London UK, Prior to this, I used to be involved in the development of performance and flight characteristics on the Bac Concord, working alongside the chief test pilot investigating flight and performance testing of this wonderful aircraft until it was recently taken out of service. In my youth after leaving University, I had been professionally trained as an Olympic level Gymnast, competing in numerous international world events and competitions! . . . . . this did eventually lead me into working as . . . . a porn star with such famous "co-stars" as . . . Pamela Anderson, . . . Paris Hylton and . . . Samantha Fox! and, finally, Did I not mention that I am really a wild "rock star" lead guitarist and . . . . . .also a compulsive liar!
Blog entries are arranged with the latest entries at the top for ease of use
15th December 2007. . . Nearly Xmas and we have been very busy recording our original songs and uploading them onto our "Myspace" site (see music Blogg). I have also made a lot of visits to the eye hospital and undergone various laser treatments (the worst yesterday) but I guess it is better than going totally blind. Clinton got his hair cut (yes REALLY) and now sports a new clean cut look! Being totally immature I bought some great toys from the Metro Centre so . . . Roll on Xmas and I wish everyong a very happy Xmas and new year!
15th November 2007. . . It is THAT time of year again and my birthday has come around once again. For the last few years I have took Clint with me to see a good band as a present and this year I was given two tickets to see Alice Cooper (thank you Christine)! Well what more can I say Joan Jett, Motorhead (who were dismal) and THE MAN, Alice Cooper, what a show at the Metro Arena! Also we have now got the bass bins for our PA so we sound better and we are currently learning some of Clint's new songs.
30th July 2007Someone gave us tickets to see "Walter Trout" at the "Carling" (not my favourite venue). He was OK and the support act was a guy called Calvin Jones" who was a real showman. It is almost my birthday and so I think I will try ti get tickets for Alice Cooper that will be a show and a half.
Went to see Beckett's first gig for six months since Alan's death, they were good and it was a pleasure to meet the replacement drummer "Colin Scott" who I played with in the "Treatment" around 25 years ago, good luck Colin and nice to meet again after so long.
23th July 2007 We have been pretty busy since the last entry and VoodooTV has been out gigging, we had to change our drummer but for more info on that go to www.voodootv.artistsworld.org we are getting booked up and we are thinking of eventually dropping the "covers" songs and replacing them with our own material.
I sold my Range Rover as it was not getting used due to my eye problem and also we don't really need a vehicle as we live in Town.
13th July 2007 Been to the hospital AGAIN this time to have yellow dye injected into my arm and then pictures taken of the inside of my eye! Our band VooDoo is now ready to play and we are just polishing off a few rough endings etc.
3rd June 2007 Well even though I am having real problems with my eyesight things are not all doom and gloom. I met my long lost daughter tonight and found her to be a verytalented, beautiful and lovely person with a smashing husband and family, so, we now have welcome additions to our family.
1st June 2007 Over the last 6 weeks or so I have lost about 70% of my eyesight due to a blocked blood vessel in my "good" right eye and I amd now left with the very poor vision of my left eye which makes reading a computer screen almost impossible. (I have stopped driving and even find crossing a road a problem). I will try to update the site when possible but it is difficult and slow. The good news is that I am still completely able to play guitar and we have a new line up and are busy rehearsing! Thanks for all of the emails about the sight problem and I will try to reply eventually!
28th April 2007 Well unfortunately this months blog is very sad as I report the recent death of Beckett's drummer Alan. Alan Craig was not only a dear friend of mine he was a very good drummer, he will be sadley missed by many people and my sympathies go out to Karen!
19th March 2007 Been busy buying another new Amp (see the music blog on here) and went to a surprise birthday party on Saturday to celebrate Alan's 60th birthday (see the Beckett link). We were gonna play but we had problems getting a bass player, Big Brian did a sterling job on the discotheque so all went well. Anyway happy birthday Alan!
16th february 2007 The year is zooming by and the weather has been very mild. I bought a new amp in the new year sales and Clint is now using my old one. We have been rehearsing and hoping to form an act with some guys we have met, I will keep you informed on that one. Clint has been writing some new songs and we hope to get them recorded soon! I guess it is now the time to start sorting out a summer holiday.
4th January 2007 I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year and my best wishes to you all! Last night (at short notice) we drove along to Middlesbrough, No SatNav cos it was raining heavily and we couldn't pick up a satellite for clouds, I was feeling really ill due to a heavy cold and then , , , , , , We saw the Sensational Alex Harvey Band at the "Empire" there. What a brilliant night and while I was lucky enough to see these guys back in the 1970s when Alex was alive they are still amazing with their new front man "Max"! Clint got a very big but pleasant shock when they started playing (they opened with Faith Healer and finished with Vambo Rules) . . . . . what a show!
24th December 2006 Well, here we are and it's Christmas again! This has been another good year and I finally found a reliable builder who came and built my rear gates, my truck is now parked in the yard! The new band (Bad Robot) is coming along nicely and we seem to have recruited a very good bass player to support our twin lead guitar line up so all in all I will simply say . . . have a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to you all. best wishes from Terry and Clint
7th October 2006 Hi the year seems to have flown by, been out and about and saw (amongst others) Grumpy Old Men, they played a few of my favorite songs so I will give em a mention. I do have a gripe, I want a small building job done at the rear of my home and . . Is every single builder genetically moronic? as it seems impossible to actually get one to turn up or . . do some work, I will probably end up doing it myself!
7th September 2006 Well here we are and the weather is getting cooler, I just totally re-arranged the blog layout (to save you from having to scroll to the bottom of the page to read the latest entry), as well as altering the font colors to allow for better contrast with the new picture background!
1st September 2006 Clint's finished school and got mostly "B"s except for an "A*" in English so Well done mate especially as he had to "go sick" in order to use the WEB to revise (no thanks to the useless school he attended)! So all ready to start college with those 8 GCSE's. The weather seems to be changing (after the record heat wave summer) and I think I will take a holiday in a couple of weeks. I was thinking of starting a free software downloads page so how many of you are interested?
4th August 2006 Well where has the time gone? We have been busy enjoying the recent summer heat wave, we have also been redecorating our home (something I HATE doing but it needed doing!) and I "picked up" several really cheap PCs and cannibalized the parts and we now have FIVE working machines here in the house (not counting our usual ones!) so we have put one in each spare bedroom and will sell the rest for around £25 each! We had a non English speaking house guest but now we are out and about again, went and saw the "Becket" scoundrels on friday (another flawless gig) and many thanks to Bob (Bass player) for the gates! and of course "Hi" to Allen the bands "Pinup"!
20th March 2006 Clint played his first concert at school before an audience and did well then, later that evening, he got well paid for creating a web site for a local business, (his first paid job) so . . . well done mate!
15th March 2006 Had a surprise contact from someone who I last saw about 35 years ago and who I will never forget! If you are reading this P then you know who you are!
13th March 2006 Been working away at tidying up the site and chopping out lots of code (due to previously editing it with "dreamweaver"). Also added a calendar which incorporates an accurate time clock. Created a new banner to "theme together" all of the pages.
5th March 2006 We were both laid low with the flu bug that went around and it seemed to last for around three weeks! However things are back to normal and I will now (at last) begin the update of this site keeping most of the content but displaying it in a themed and simple manner (I am sure you will let me know your views).
14th January 2006 Well we are now back in circulation and I popped over to Shields to the "Lord Clyde" and caught the rock band Faith Healer and we had a really good night, try and catch them if they play near you!
13th January 2006 OK I have now relocated and have the new home sort of finished, I hope you all had a great Xmas and New Year (as we did) and I will now start updating this site again, (I will be cleaning up the menu screen)!
2nd December 2005 Well I updated the site again and added some totally new games as well as an "Xmas" flavor and greeting! . . I am currently working on a completely new site format and will probably change my own site over just after xmas! giving it a cleaner and more uniform look. Clint should finish his new makeover first and you ought check out his new site soon! clint's site until then . . . . Happy Xmas to you all!
6th November 2005 OK its THAT time of the year and yesterday was my birthday (No I AIN'T gonna tell you my age!) and my son and I finished off a great day by going to Newcastle upon Tyne and watching a Tubes concert . . Brilliant! I even came away with a free Tubes teashirt what a good night! here are some shots of the performance Tubes a Great band and brilliant stage show . . .just a pity that the carling academy is a shit venue and stops the music a 10pm sharp!
30th August 2005 Added a totally new intro (thanks for all the help Clint) and I hope you all like it.
26th August 2005 We are (well Clint) still working hard on the Chat room and Bulletin board facility It is working in Firefox but not in IE however if you are reading this PLEASE give us some feedback and a comment on the Bulletin board!
18th August 2005
Well we have been here (back in the NE area) for around six months now, and seem to be
finally getting sorted out! So, I now have (at last), finally found some time to start
going out a bit and enjoying myself! I walked into a bar in Seaburn a couple of weeks
ago and found the band
playing a gig there. These guys were around back in the 70's
and have survived "almost" intact till the present!
(of course I was only VERY young when I first saw them! and these days, I am now much
better looking than both the drummer "Alan Craig" and bass player "Bill Bob Campbell"
! ha ha!) anyway watch out for them as they are a very good act and a great bunch of
guys!
16th August 2005 Finally added the first part of the Chat room and Bulletin board facility (I have to admit that this is all down to clint and he will be adding the full chat room soon!
12th August 2005 added new tab and guitar chord help to the music menu plus = now listen to EVERY father's favorite song!
9th August 2005 Updated some links and tidied up some graphics
6th August 2005 re-added a "hit" counter so I can now keep a record of visitors to the site!
28th July 2005 Loaded on the new "Visits" page today. However, due to the enormous amount of pictures we have, I will be adding to it regularly, so, keep an eye open on it! I hope you enjoy it and if so please e-mail me and let me know!.
26th July 2005 OK started to add a new "Visits page today.
25th July 2005 Added the "Crackspider link and toolbar for crack and serial number searches!
22nd July 2005 Got my windows tinted, Bullbar reinforced and the a/c charged up and now I have just about finished work on my truck!
15th July 2005 Finally tidied up my main "menu" page as it was becoming very cluttered and now (I hope) has a cleaner and easier "feel" to it! Also added a new "Tutorial" page (based on a similar style on my son's site).
14th July 2005 Added more photos to the Gallery and tidied up the fonts on the main menu page (I think I will redesign this as it is becoming too large and complicated!).
10th July 2005 Made the titles smaller and neater plus added an example page in the "Website" page to show Clint's work!
3rd July 2005 Nothing to do with the web page but . . I finally got my Range Rover resprayed and then bolted all the "Bull bars, Side steps, light guards" back on and I have (almost) finished repainting the wheels so . . at last I can drive around without the need to wear sunglasses as a disguise
26th June 2005 Edited the opening title screen to cut down on loading times (for people with slow connections).
25th June 2005 Improved my site intro flash movie (and dropped my Range Rover in for a Respray)!
23rd June 2005 Added new intro "Flash" file (hope you enjoy it)!
20th June 2005 Thought it would be a good idea to start putting the date of each new Blog plus will NOT be updating for a couple of days as I am re-installing XP (something I HATE doing) this will clean up the O/S and speed things up in general!
(First Ever Entry) Ok we have been up and running for around 2 - 3 weeks now and the site has expanded q uite a bit, with the inclusion of free games, advice and support and coming soon . . . . a free animated chat facility! Finally got around to correcting the careless spelling mistakes on the first page titles!
